The Communications Magnet emphasizes media production, journalism, and digital communication skills. Students learn about various forms of media, from broadcast to digital platforms, and develop the technical and creative skills needed to excel in the communications industry. The program prepares students for careers in media, public relations, and other communication fields.

Students Applying To Enter A Magnet Program Must Qualify According To The District Wide Standards:
- 2.0 GPA or above in all core classes
- All core academic effort must be a “2” or “1”
- Students must not have excessive unexcused absences
- Students must demonstrate model student behavior at all
